This painting was originally completed as a plein air painting in Spearfish Canyon in the Black Hills.  In the month of April, snow was still blanketing parts of the lush green forest floor as one lone buck appeared.  Many of the trees were still brittle and bare from the cold winter.

Original Oil Painting –

This is the original oil painting completed on stretched canvas.  Hanging hardware is included.  It is 1.5 inches in width.  It is available with a dark wooden frame.

Hand-painted Giclee

This giclee printed on stretched canvas has been oil painted by hand with brushes and palette knives to create the added color and texture effect of the original oil painting. The gallery wrapped canvas measures 15” X 30” and is approximately 1 ½ inches thick and can be hung without frame.  Hardware is attached.
