This work of art was painted near the Spearfish Creek at Spearfish Park, in the Black Hills in South Dakota.  Known for its vivid fall colors, this location seemed to be ablaze with all the colors of fall!

This is the original oil painting on stretched canvas.  It has been skillfully painted with palette knives and paint brushes that give it a vibrant thick texture as well as intense color.  The canvas is15”h X 30”w and is on stretcher bars approximately 1 ¼ inches thick.  It has been professionally framed in a dark walnut wooden frame.  The overall size with the frame is 20 X 35 ¼ inches.  Hanging hardware is attached.

This giclee printed on stretched canvas has been oil painted by hand with palette knives and brushes to create the added brilliant color and texture effect of the original oil painting.
