The subject of this painting is a historical building in Spearfish, South Dakota.  Built in 1911, it supplied electricity to the surrounding area, using water power. The building still stands, and functions as a source of electricity today. This original work was painted with a variety of color and texture using brushes and palette knives.

This is the original oil painting on stretched canvas.  The canvas is18”h X 24”w and is on stretcher bars approximately 1 ¼ inches thick.  Hanging hardware is attached.
